Tirfo Thuin by Andrew Butterworth
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
This book was the worst kind of disappointment: a great premise, a compelling story and a talented author; but it all falls flat due to a lack of proper revision and attention to detail.
To start, it is full of typos and grammatical errors. There are frequent inconsistencies with the characters, and scenes are often lacking in emotional intensity. These are all issues that could have been fixed, which is why I found the story so disappointing.
